The Lagoon has two hotels that cater for families and adults, and one exclusive adults-only hotel. Below, you’ll find dedicated sections for each hotel, where you can explore the most common questions being asked regarding amenities, bookings, dining, and more.

Bus to Santa Maria
There is a twice daily bus that takes guests to Santa Maria town from outside of all 3 of our resorts. Return to the hotel can be arranged personally via taxi
Beach / Pool towels
Towel cards are given out at check-in, please return at check- out. Failure to return beach towels will incur in the charge of 20€ per towel.
Pool towels are to be picked up at Sal pool and Brava pool area, from 10:00 – 18:00, with the towel card.

Dogs
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the resorts
Are all hotels adult only?
Tortuga & Dunas are family resorts, whereas Llana is Adult only.
What does All inclusive mean?
Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. 1 visit to the à la carte restaurants included per week. Snacks at set times. Select local alcoholic and soft drinks.

Yes (but none sold as room with a view)

- Burracona : an underwater cavity nestled amidst volcanic rocks and crystal-clear waters

When is Cape Verde Carnival?
Same date as for carnival in any catholic country (usually just before lent start)
Any hotel that has vegetarian food that is all inclusive?
All our hotels cater for various dietary requirements including vegetarian

No specific time:
Transfer are to be pre booked with the hotel or TUI (time between the two points : 20mins)

Are all the rooms fully air-conditioned?

Is there wifi?
Yes, both in room and across the resorts eg by the pools

What is the weather like?
No matter what time of year, you can expect to have highs of at least 25°C and very little rainfall outside the rainy season.
Are there any Insects or animals to worry about?
There can be Mosquitos so worth bringing some spray if you are susceptible
Are the resorts suitable for wheel chairs?
Yes, there are accessible rooms, toilets and ramps in place on all resorts
Who can use the water park?
Only residents on Dunas can use the waterpark, or VIP upgrade to benefit all the resorts and their facilities
Gluten-Free Options
We have some gluten-free cakes and bread as well as pizza and pasta. However, it's always very important that you contact us when you arrive at the restaurant. If you're going to reserve a table for one of the restaurants, please let us know so we can be prepared and have your menu ready
